CAO : Zuken finalise l’acquisition de Vitech
Le 15 août, le Japonais Zuken a annoncé la finalisation de l’acquisition de l’Américain Vitech, qui complète son portefeuille de logiciels d’automatisation de la conception électronique en y ajoutant une expertise en ingénierie système et des produits connexes. Vitech possède plus de 25 ans d’expérience dans la méthodologie d’ingénierie des systèmes, offrant des produits et des services destinés au marché de l’ingénierie des systèmes à base de modèles (MBSE).
Zuken has announced the completion of the Vitech acquisition which had approval of the United States Department of Defense and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). The acquisition of Vitech complements and expands Zuken’s electronic design automation software portfolio with the addition of system engineering expertise and related products.
Vitech is a global solutions company based in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States with more than 25 years of industry experience in systems engineering methodology offering products and services directed at the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) market.
“The acquisition of Vitech advances Zuken’s strategy to become a leader in digital engineering solutions,” said Jinya Katsube, Chief Operating Officer at Zuken. “Zuken is now uniquely positioned with solutions in both systems engineering and detailed design to take a leadership role in the development of electrical and electronic model-based design practices from product definition to manufacturing.”
As product complexity continues to increase, companies are adopting MBSE tools and processes to better define product requirements, structure, and behavior. Vitech’s Genesys product is used to develop MBSE models that incorporate the key components for building a complex system involving people, processes, data, and documentation. Companies, particularly in the aerospace, transportation, and military segments are adopting MBSE tools and practices to address product complexity and safety concerns.
